How To Create Textured Text in Photoshop

I wanted to share a quick and fun project with you. Here, I will show you how easy it is to create textures text in Photoshop. See more creative inspirations on Pinterest. Click on the images below to see them larger.

Create a 7" x 5" document in Photoshop. Draw / drag a text box the same size as the document.
Type any word or phrase. I chose to type love in "A Gentle Touch" font in 300pt.

Next, open the image you would like to use as a texture. Drag it into your original text document. Make sure this texture layer is on top of the text later.

Now, click on the texture layer. In the drop down menu, choose Layer > Create Clipping Mask.

Instantly, you will see the text cut out of the texture!

Have a lovely night!
