What To Wear To A Music Festival - HATS + SUNGLASSES

Summer is fast approaching, and many music festivals already have tickets on sale, and initial lineups announced. If you are lucky enough to be attending a music festival or two this year, here are a few fashionable suggestions. I always tend to go for more boho styles, and have been to about 20+ festivals, and hundreds of concerts.  Also, for TONS of inspirations, check out my Pinterest Board called Music Festival and Concert Fashion.

Hats are a MUST if you're going to be out in the sun all day. They not only protect your beautiful face, but they help keep your hair tamed while you are camping. You may even want to bring some dry shampoo, in case a shower isn't as easy to find as expected. Make sure you bring a good SPF, too!! Make sure you drink plenty of water (in addition to whatever else you drink!!), stay in the shade when possible, and try to avoid heat exhaustion and sunburn, as it will completely ruin your festival experience.

Fall Accessories

Chilly nights are finally here! I'm so happy the weather has cooled and the humidity is far less than it was over the summer here in southern IL. Here are a few fashionable items to bring you into Fall.
A chunky infinity scarf in muted plum/purple - cute worn over a long sleeve, loose tee or pair it with a shirt + chunky cardigan.
and, these ankle booties from Sole Society are wonderful! Dressy or casual, you decide how to style them.
I first saw fleece-lined leggings a couple of years ago, and think they're great! It's normally too cold to wear leggings in the winter, but these are great, and you can even layer them under other items for added warmth.
This print is just perfect for Fall. I could see wearing this over those fleece-lined leggings and some brown or cognac boots. You could even add a belt for more interest.
And, this mocha-colored floppy beanie is great. Perfect for a grunge-inspired look, and cute if your hair has a little bit of wave or volume, as it is a bit of a larger hat.

Moorea Seal!

I recently received some wonderful items from Moorea Seal! I was the lucky winner of her Pin To Win contest, and happily chose a few items for Fall and Winter!
My absolute favorite item is this beautiful purse. The Double Chain Crossbody Purse by Seaecho, is made from Pendleton Wool, and has two brass zippers with leather zipper pulls. It is constructed very well and is a super smart design! The size is just right, and I cannot wait until the weather cools a tiny bit more so I can use this amazing purse.

Here are all four of my goodies! This larger purse, below, is actually screen printed with a hand-drawn grid in black ink on grey canvas. The straps are super sturdy and I feel like this tote could hold a heavier load. It will definitely come shopping with me soon! It has a really nice zipper to keep things corralled, too.
I was also pleasantly surprised by these two hats I chose. They are sturdy, soft, and fit my head very well, which I have trouble with - many hats give me a headache after a short time. But, these hats are just right and will be on my head every day of this winter! I stuck with pretty neutral colors, as I want to wear these pieces with lots of outfits. Find the Tan Willow Beanie here and the Grey Pom Hat here
If you haven't gotten a chance to stop by the Moorea Seal website, or store in Seattle, please stop by and see her wonderfully curated goods.

Sweaters for Fall and Winter!!

September is such a great time for fashion - sweaters, scarves, jackets, and all sorts of wonderful and cozy clothing options. These sweaters, above, would be perfect with leggings or a pair of skinny jeans and a cute pair of short booties or flats.

Here are a few more ideas on how to style these sweaters and more for Fall.
